The Soldier Show

Last night we went to see the "Soldier Show" on post.  It was packed!  There were people actually sitting on the floor because there weren't any seats left.  What a great turnout!  It always thrills me to see the support that families and soldiers show to this traveling group of soldiers/singers/dancers/musicians.  This year is the 25th anniversary of the updated Soldier Show.  So, to all my Army buds who look at this blog, if the show hasn't been to your post yet and you get a chance to see it, GO!

Here is the whole troop on stage.

They did an awesome rendition of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.  They had the actual video playing on TVs to either side of the stage and the performers were moving right along with it.  The lumps on the stage are actually the performers waiting to come out as zombies.

Here's one Drew enjoyed.  They did a Guitar Hero rendition of "Back in Black".  They had the game playing on the TVs during the song.

Just to clear up any confusion, Jake was NOT in the Soldier Show.  I just couldn't resist putting up this cute pic of him snuggled on the couch this morning.  I guess he still hadn't had his morning coffee.
