On the Road Again

Are those the Clampett's? I was feeling a bit like it after loading up all of our stuff for our ONE night of camping!

Home Sweet Home:) We were the lone guests this weekend. We were upgraded to this lovely cabin free of charge and had a lot more room to spread out. Good thing! Once we unloaded all of our stuff, it was pretty full. We even had our own bathroom. Now that's my kind of camping.

The girls made a box oven to bake our biscuits in this morning. Unfortunately, our charcoal refused to light, so we weren't able to use it. Good thing we had a KITCHEN! :) We saved this oven for our next trip.

Hot cocoa all around! We had smores and drank hot cocoa while watching some movies on the tv. How did we make smores without a fire, you ask? In the microwave, of course:)!

We played a rousing game of UNO last night, and I do mean rousing! We were so loud, it was a good thing that we were the only people at the campgrounds.

A little too much partying for Paige. The girls went to sleep at about 1:30. We have to take their word for it because we were out an hour before that.

Morning cocoa on the front porch. It was a little brisk, but the girls enjoyed a few minutes outside. We had some yummy southwestern eggs and biscuits for breakfast before heading home to Clarksville. Another fun, successful trip for Troop 560!
