This weekend we went hiking on the Desoto Scout Trail. We stayed at the Desoto State Park in Alabama, which is located on the lower side of Lookout Mountain.
Here is where the trail started, and it was one of very few trail markers that we saw along the way.

The end of a long hard hike! All the hikers did awesome! Even the leaders! We spent the rest of the evening in front of the fire eating and playing campfire games. All of the kids and adults where in their tents by 9:30 P.M. We were prepared because the night before it was down to 20*.
Drew and Devin in front of the fire on Sunday morning. Drew was the first one up. When Devin woke up he wanted to know who was going to get up and make a fire for him! Drew was already awake working on the blaze!

Devin and I looking on and wonder what lunch has in store for us? What ever it was going to be it had to be fast! We had a long drive ahead of us! When we arrived home LeAnne had BBQ Pork Chops planned for dinner! Plus, showers for everyone! FINALLY!
