Devin's New Camping Gear
Today Devin was checking out some of his new camping gear. Here he is trying to put the pole-vault together. Does anyone know which end is up?
Devin guides the pole into the sleeve as Dad slips the tent over the pole. What a team we make!
Here Jax supervises the use of his "area". He did find a nice comfortable rain fly to lay on a bit later!
Trying to get the poles to slide into the hooks on the tent is the hardest part. Hopefully the tent will stretch out a little so Devin can do this on his own. But then again he might have to use some team work and rely on a fellow scout to lend a helping hand.
Devin has the core tent up! He was very excited. He spent most of the afternoon out in the yard checking out his new gear.

And this is how Devin spent the afternoon! Laying in his new sleeping bag inside his new tent. He is all set to hit the trails and is looking forward to it! At the end of the day all the gear ended up back in his pack. Great job!
