The Klondike Derby....Brrrrr!
This morning Scott and Devin got up at the crack of dawn to head out for the Scouts Klondike Derby. They came home about 1 p.m., frozen solid and looking for some hot cocoa!
Here Devin is helping some of the younger scouts strap on snow shoes for a competition.
They were bundled up very well to try to keep the 3* weather from freezing them solid.
We're also cooking up a (Virtual) storm!
The kids got the video game Order Up! as a surprise last night and have been cooking ever since. Here Devin is working on making burgers.
Drew was the first to test it last night, since he was leaving for the school basketball game. He made up some time after he got home and now has several 5 star restaurants.
Paige is still working on her first restaurant. She's got 5 stars, so she can buy another one whenever she's ready. Scott has even gotten into the cooking spirit and opened a restaurant of his own. Now if only I can get them to do some real cooking...
